  • Fibre directly to your premises
  • Lower network latency
  • More consistent performance
  • Faster upload speeds
  • Reliable streaming and video conferencing
  • Excellent performance for cloud storage and large file transfers

Availability depends on whether Community Fibre infrastructure has been deployed at your address.

Speeds, Equipment & Billing

Speeds

Advertised download and upload speeds represent the maximum speeds available on your selected plan under ideal conditions.

Typical evening speeds are measured between 7:00 pm and 11:00 pm and indicate the average speeds customers can expect during busy periods.

Actual speeds may vary due to:

  • Customer equipment
  • Wi-Fi performance
  • Number of connected devices
  • Server limitations
  • Internet congestion outside the Veltrix network

Equipment

A compatible modem/router with a Gigabit Ethernet WAN port is recommended for Community Fibre services. Customers may bring their own compatible modem/router, or purchase a compatible device from Veltrix if available.

For plans above 1 Gbps, your modem/router and connected devices must support multi-gigabit networking to achieve the highest possible speeds.

Billing

All Residential Community Fibre Plans are billed monthly in advance. Payment methods include Direct Debit, Credit Card and Debit Card. Invoices are issued electronically. There are no lock-in contracts.

If you cancel your service, cancellation should be requested before your next billing date. Charges already billed for the current billing period are generally not refundable or provided on a pro-rata basis, except where required by law.

Important Information

  • Community Fibre is available only in selected service areas.
  • Actual speeds vary depending on your equipment, home network and connected devices.
  • Promotional pricing automatically reverts to the standard monthly price after the promotional period ends.
  • This CIS should be read together with the Customer Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy and Acceptable Use Policy.
